「 let 」的英文原意有让….的原意，除此以外，与否除了甚么其它的英语用语呢?
基本上表述：to allow, to permit 容许
to allow to enter or leave 容许步入或离开
ex. Please let us in ! It’s cold!
请让他们进来!好冷!
ex. ( Police ) I’ll let you go with a warning.
就要容许你返回，但还是要警示你!
use with imperative ; to request, propose 明确要求.一致同意(与指示一同采用)
这是较为正式宣布的讲法
ex. Let us see.
让他们看一看。
ex. Let us consider these options.
让他们谈谈那些优先选择。
to rent rooms (British English) 承租(这是英式英语，英式不这种采用)
ex. He let a room to a young woman from another city.
他承租一个房间给另一个城市的年轻女子。
ex. I’m letting a room from a wealthy couple.
我从一对富裕的夫妇那租房。
to let go 解雇
ex. Management decided to let half of us go this month.
管理阶层决定解雇他们一半的人。
ex. I’m sorry, but we have to let you go.
很抱歉他们必须让你走。
to let go 放松.释放.松开
ex. Try to let go of your stress .
试著释放你的压力。
ex. Let go of me.
放开我。
let out 给予某东西自由.释放自由
ex. Let me out of this room.
让我出去这房间。
ex. She let out a terrifying scream.
她发出一声可怕的尖叫声。
let (someone) have it 攻击.抨击某人
ex. My boss let me have it this morning. I made a huge mistake this week.
我老板今早对我吼叫了，我这礼拜犯了一个大错。
ex. Did you see that fight? The smaller guy really let the bigger guy have it!
